Have a recommendation for this quest?? I wanna hear them all!! But please read this first!
As I mentioned in the Welcome & Introductions post - I'm keeping the specific criteria for this quest close to my chest until other similar quests drop and I don't want to potentially ruin the surprise! However, I will say this quest is multi-genre, so don't worry about trying to stay in a specific niche. If it feels like a fever dream (surreal, absurd, dreamlike), I would to know about it so I can consider it! Please be patient with me as I make my way through the recommendations!
You can suggest as many books as you like, but please submit one book per comment so other Boundlings can upvote the books they'd love to see on this quest tooo! Your comment should include the book title, author, and a link (or just the url) to the book's page on Pagebound so I know exactly which book to check out!

Reality is overrated! These surreal and absurd fiction books remove logic to reveal their truths. Here the impossible is inevitable, the strange is necessary, and Kafkaesque is only the beginning.

Hi everyone! It’s time for the library’s biggest and busiest season…the SUMMER READING PROGRAM!!!!! It’s a lot of work but I’m so excited! The library I work at has an amazing SRP for kids, but the adult program is somewhat lackluster in comparison (plus, I could really get into the conflict of not being able to use the public library as your third space when you work there, but that’s a post for another day…). My public library where I live, though, has an AMAZING SRP for adults and I’m so excited to participate!!! The grand prize is a super cute baseball cap, and I’m earning that hat this summer, dammit!
If your library had a summer reading program, which part are you most excited for?? Is there anything amazing your library does for their summer reading program?
So excited for a fun summer of reading!
P.S. seriously, please thank your local library workers this summer! SRP is so much work and we all love it, but we’re all already exhausted and we have all summer to go yet. And as always, thank YOU for your support of the library!

I want to know what (related to books and/or reading) you're most proud of. Did you finish a book? Did you diversify your tbr? Did you dnf a book you weren't vibing with? Even if you feel like it's a small thing if you're proud of it shout it out. Let's hype each other up!
For me, I think I'm most proud of introducing more non-fiction into my reading. I was never really a fan but I picked up The 100 Years' War on Palestine and suddenly needed to learn.

A collection of the pilot books for popular series, for those of us who love to follow a character's journey for as long as an author will let us! Some of the below series have heavily debated starting points and book read orders--in those cases the pilot was selected based on what seems to be the most popular approach.
