Post from the Morning Glory Milking Farm (Cambric Creek, #1) forum
i am really liking the story, but didn’t anyone else struggle to keep up? like theres no distinct line or anything for when a scene changes, the writing just continues and it takes me a minute to figure out where we’re at now. is it just me?

honestly this book will forever be my all time favourite. i loved the plot, the characters, the development, the writing, the speed of the book… JUST EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!
this series has skyrocketed to the top of my favourites list and i fear nothing will ever beat it. for the record, gibsie is my favourite character of all time, but johnny and shannon are my fave couple. ❤️

I’ve seen The Cruel Prince added to several romantasy lists across many online platforms and spaces, and I can’t seem to understand why. I’ve always understood romantasy as an adult genre categorized by spicy scenes, and this is a purely young adult book without any of this. I really loved this book, but I can’t help but wonder if people going into it expecting a heavier romance may be disappointed. To me, this feels far closer to a classic ya fantasy than adult romantasy.
