Stevie being such a pushover with literally everyone other than Zanders is kind of annoying. It feels inconsistent with her character that she was immediately sassy AT HER JOB WITH HER CLIENT!! But she can’t be anything other than a spineless jellyfish with the people who have personally wronged her multiple times?? Like is she a baddie or a doormat? Which one is it??

My first reread of The Stranger since junior year HS English Lit!! I love the concept of absurdism, and this was a fun deep dive into a philosophy that my angsty teen self loved so much. Guess I’m still angsty because the concept of life being meaningless still hits 😂

From stolen centuries to days that echo themselves, these books breathe time travel into the weave, unraveling the seams of time and lingering in the threads that slip free.

i cant with adaira calling jack "my old menace"
just a personal gripe i suppose but i don't find it cute or endearing and it makes me cringe

Dnf because it's the temu version of Alchemised and his fanfic AND if you want to talk about abuse against women ok but you have to do it in the right way. This is pure slop and the protagonist is stup1d as a rock. I'm sad, the cover of the book is wonderful.
