2 reasons for dnf’ing the book, both of which might seem petty - the lack of quotation marks (really irked me, such an eyesore), and the rather dry intro that somehow already introduced, well, you know… that. Not that i don’t care for stories with love making scenes, but for this book to rather start a bit dryly and with that, no momentum or whatsoever, i cannot even bring myself to speed read through the book for the plot. i’ve been wanting to try reading a book written by Sally Rooney, so i hope there are better books out there to start with. 🤞🤞

This book was certainly a change from the main trilogies' style of story telling. It was interesting being able to see what changes took place after the "revolution" had taken place and it brings forth very interesting issues, such as the need for violent resistence and the right to exercise it.
The multiple POV's was a refreshing change of pace, but the change from one storyline to the other could sometimes feel badly timed. Also, the cliffhangery endings in almost every chapter were a bit off-putting for my taste.
Overall, I enjoyed this book and the story it managed to tell through the perspectives of the different colours, something we didn't really get to see before.
