a short, evocative read. it’s gory, it’s flowery (i can’t count how many times i had to look up a word), and i devoured! the takeaway here is Fuck Men, eat them instead, and to that i say, cheers! šŸ„‚

if you’re here for the vibes, this is for you. be wary if you’re squeamish, though

My vocabulary expanding is directly proportional to how many times I needed to define a word šŸ“ˆ

you could say this shit was weird and miraculous ;)

i like my women gay, yearning, and unhinged and this delivers that in strides with our three main characters: a mad heretic, a lady night, and a gremlin of a girl. i loved the underlying tension and horror that surrounds blind faith and what becomes of this fictional religion. the prose is circular and—most times—nonsensical but i think that’s the point, mirroring the mental state of the MCs. it gets claustrophobic, and pretty gross as you would expect when cannibalism is involved. i see why this may not be some people’s cup of tea but it is mine and i’ll take it with honey, please and thank you šŸ˜‹
