a short, evocative read. itâs gory, itâs flowery (i canât count how many times i had to look up a word), and i devoured! the takeaway here is Fuck Men, eat them instead, and to that i say, cheers! đ„
if youâre here for the vibes, this is for you. be wary if youâre squeamish, though

My vocabulary expanding is directly proportional to how many times I needed to define a word đ

When We Lost Our Heads

you could say this shit was weird and miraculous ;)
i like my women gay, yearning, and unhinged and this delivers that in strides with our three main characters: a mad heretic, a lady night, and a gremlin of a girl. i loved the underlying tension and horror that surrounds blind faith and what becomes of this fictional religion. the prose is circular andâmost timesânonsensical but i think thatâs the point, mirroring the mental state of the MCs. it gets claustrophobic, and pretty gross as you would expect when cannibalism is involved. i see why this may not be some peopleâs cup of tea but it is mine and iâll take it with honey, please and thank you đ
