quests_and_magic_pls's Book Journey

ana kind of reminds me of the mole person from the animated movie atlantis. also that death was really sad to watch :-( he just wanted to go back home (sure he probably killed some people but ☹️)

To be honest, I’m not loving the characters or the dialog so far - the dialog in particular feels almost kind of YA? Like, one of the main characters just called someone a turd 😂 It just seems odd to me to go to the trouble of building an entire political and judicial system, renaming all the months, and so on, only for the characters to constantly use modern curse words and insults.

That being said, I’m enjoying the world building and the plot, and I want to find out more about the giant sea monsters, so I’m going to keep reading.
