A Marriage at Sea by A Marriage at Sea was a quietly harrowing account of two very real people who survived an extraordinary experience. I went into this book unsure if it would be for me, but by the end I found it to be a lovely and compelling read. It's a thoughtful story of resilience, love, and survival that stayed with me long after I finished it.

This book was a romp. It took me a while to get through it, but it was absolutely worth it. It was such a cute story, full of hijinks, eye-roll-worthy moments, and a whole lot of heart. The spice level was low, but in a way that really fit the story. For the longest time, I kept thinking, Girl... when do you actually work? But the ending brought everything full circle, and I appreciated how it all came together. Overall, it was a charming, feel-good romance that left me smiling.

This book was far more entertaining than I expected. While some of the points felt a bit repetitive, the overall message was informative, engaging, and thought-provoking. Doctorow explores the very real consequences of AI and the ways it is reshaping our world, often in ways we don't immediately recognize. What stood out to me most is the reality that AI isn't some distant future technology—it's already woven into everyday life. Its use is becoming increasingly ubiquitous, whether we realize it or not. After all, this review was written with the help of AI. Overall, this was an accessible and insightful read that balances caution with practicality. If you're curious about how AI may impact society, work, and daily life, it's worth picking up.
