Does anyone ever see so much about a book that it makes them suspicious of the book? Cause I’ve been seeing this one everywhere for months and I’m like….it can’t be that good right? I don’t think it’s to the level of like….anything by Sarah J. Maas (legit I will probably never read stuff by her because of how it’s everywhere) but I just get a weird vibe from it. And it’s something that would otherwise be completely up my alley!

Wow this was so much more horrific and fun than I was expecting.
There were definitely elements to the plot that I didn't like, and wow did I hate some of the characters, but I can't deny Hendrix's ability to make me feel such a strong mix of emotions, and then clap at the end to thank him for the pleasure.
Absurdity blends with unexpected realism, creating a story that would've felt much darker without the humour Hendrix masterfully sprinkles throughout.
Definitely a book that needs to find it's audience, but, it's found that in me.
