I need this actress to narrate my whole life in the background. Her voice is magical.

I read Ninth House three years ago. That's basically a lifetime ago... Glad I took notes, but I'll probably need to reread the first book before the final book. So far, I'm enjoying this!

This felt like the perfect follow up to the first book. We follow Cora after she drops out of Eleanor's Home and enrolls in the Whitethorn Institute, a polar opposite school that's basically run like a prison. The Headmaster is mysterious and reclusive man with some eerie secrets. We also get a visit from Sumi and learn of Regan's fate after Book #6. I thoroughly enjoyed this installment, especially the attention to Cora's as a character.
