a nice little romance, I enjoyed the pacing and how slow it was initially while they each realized that the other wasn't a threat. Lots of like outside their house plot holes though, like what happened with the missing demon ? lots of like alluding to other stories but not enough to really explore the characters or anything. I did enjoy the side characters that were explored, like the twin and the mail human. also the sex part was pretty good, a fun reversal of the power dynamics usually in these demon romances. he gets tied up instead 👀

I'm almost mad that I liked this as much as I did. YES it's obscene, she literally jerks people off for a living. but the plot was low-key really sweet underneath that. FMC starts working at a "milking" facility. I'm NGL though the way that the backstory of the pharma company is built it makes sense in the world building. overall the story is actually pretty interesting even if the premise is wild, and the romance had a very cute and slow build that I really enjoyed. characters r multifaceted and grow throughout the story. honestly overall pretty solid, no complaints

definitely needs an domestic abuse and murder trigger warning ⚠️ interesting premise around the dragon culture w the marriage ceremony and stuff. the demon contract preamble at the beginning was Interesting, and I definitely enjoyed the FMCs character development. she comes out of an abusive previous marriage and definitely gains confidence throughout the story. LOTS of sex games (hunting, asking to be pregnant even though she's on birth control, mates, tail in ass, a lot) (also he has 2 dicks so do with that what you will)

definitely needs an abortion trigger warning ⚠️. kind of cute, lots of tentacle scenes if you know what I mean. not a whole lot of plot at all, but some interesting exploring of having a relationship after a previous partner's death, and brief scene of an abortion. both main characters are very damaged from the get go but mostly the story evolved around them learning to communicate and believe they deserve real love. very shallow read overall imo

loved it. Emma did an amazing job of showing the way both of them are haunted by their traumatizing pasts in the Labrinth and how that's changed them. as always her world building is on point and I very much enjoyed exploring a new side to the world that we glimpsed in the last book. loved the way Emma writes people that are having sort of forced proximity because it always swings around and is like well actually they very much had a choice and chose each other everytime they had a chance to walk away. would recommend.

loved it, very cute with a gradual relationship build which I appreciated. loved the world building and it definitely left a lot unsaid in terms of future books in this world. looking forward to more!
