Nothing is better than a Gothic Romance during Halloween season. Corvina is amazing and I wish I had her style because I was loving the outfits, she is a baddie.🤣 Vad is the dark and mysterious Daddy we all love to read about. The story begins when Corvina goes to an unusual university, in Verenmore everything is gothic, dark and full of mystery. Corvina always heard voices in her head and as soon as she arrives at the university it gets worse and a lot scarier. Vad is a mysterious professor that becomes obsessed with Corvina because of her eyes and ends up helping her discovering why she hears that voices and what's really going on at the school. The world building was well done, i could actually picture all the places, I really liked the side characters as well. The relationship is very fast burn and intense, I actually would love this book a lot more if it had a little bit less spice, also I didn't really like that during the spicy times there were talks about relevant information (so for those of you that want to skip spicy scenes, you can't in this book). Thr mystery was well built but in the end I didn't make a lot of sense to me and i ended up being disappointed. Still, i really liked the vibe so 4 stars

The thing about some authors is that they make books for certain age group and a targeted audience but some of the books just feel so irrelevant and its extremely corny. Do any of you have an experience like that when you read a book and it turned out to be really bad.

I was talking to a friend today and recommended a book to her and she told me she really doesn’t like to read series that much. Her answer was basically because it’s just too much for her. Whereas I’m the opposite. I LOVE getting hooked into a series and following the same story and characters thru multiple books.
Which one are you? And why? I would especially love to hear if there’s any others out there who also avoid series but obviously I also love to hear why people love series of books like I do lol
