Aiden, you sweet, softie of a grump!!! Why was this book one of the cutest things i've read in soooo long? The wit, the 'omg did I just say that out loud' quotient, the secret 'I'm totally in love with you' fights... everything had its own charm. This debut has all the right things for a 90s rom com and I'm in LOVE.
Rosie, the eternal optimist vs Aiden, the ever critic was so fun to read. Dynamic wise it had such a good pace, the arcs between the characters well developed and surprisingly more emotional than anticipated. Also, special shoutout to the shared spicy scene writing chapter, that was HOT.
I do feel like the ending and the third act breakup (yes there is one rip) was a bit rushed and didn't wholly make sense to me. But people irl break up over stupider things than this so honestly, it wasn't too far from reality for me lollll.
All in all though, it made me smile, it made me laugh, it made me swoon and at the end of the day that's all that matters to me. The fact that I felt good reading something and couldn't stop. 5 stars, no doubt about it.

I LOVED IT 💖💖
Sometimes it feels like I’ve read too many romance books that nothing seems to catch me the way I want it to. But amidst all those books I find gems like this that completely take me by storm.
Milo and Prudence had all the cliche tropes, yet what hooked me and surprised me was the sheer realness the story invited in the way it described intimacy and grief. It’s been soooo long since I read such a beautifully laid out story about simply just communicating and wanting to experience a first time, a friendship, a soft but still grand kind of love with no frills.
I can’t praise this book enough. It was completely out of left field for me. I’d have never guessed from that cover or the synopsis how hot, how emotional, how real this book would be. And I’m so glad I went in blind!! I’d do it again any day!l 💕💕

This is so much hotter than I thought it would be, I’m officially obsessed

4.5 stars!!
I can't believe this series is over too!!! Honestly, it was my first time reading about a firefighter, and a firefighter like Bash of all types, hot, tortured, yet unconditionally loyal, kind , and just an all around softie/grump lollll.
Of course, I have to say, the banter and flirting this book had was probably the best in the whole Rose Hill series. I was actually giggling like a lunatic at some parts lol. I was so in love with Rose Hill and the quirky, heartwarming relationships I have come to adore over the last couple years, that it feels emotionally heavy to let it go now. Gwen and Bash reminded me exactly of the kind of relationship that can overcome so much emotionally. The level of growth, the feeling of falling in love, everything felt so beautifully depicted.
I kind of wish there was more of a finality with this book considering it was the final book in the series. While all the other couples were a part of this one too, it felt very fleeting, not as pivotal as I thought they could've been. I missed West's and Tabitha's kids in the book too. It's probably the only reason this book gets a 4,5/5 from me. Can't wait for Emerald Lake next!!

I want to live inside Bash's inner monologue forever. Also why is the banter between Gwen and Bash so phenomenally amazing?

THESE BILLIONARES OMGGGGG.
I am beyond obsessed with Lily and Lorenzo. I actually cannot accept that this is the last book in the Lakefront Billionaires series (insert me crying emoji). Lauren Asher knows how to write books that dreams are made of. I feel like if ever I get into a slump I can't get out of, I can always look to her books for the kind of magic that romance as a genre strives to promise its reader.
The banter in this book was constantly bringing a smile to my face. The frenemy-ness between Rafa, Julian and Lorenzo was SOOOO adorable!! It's with series like these that when you reach a final book you realise how much you've become invested in the lives of these fictional characters simply because it feels like you've grown to some extent with them too.
I hope we get a new series by L.A soon because I'm already counting down the days to when she might announce it lol. For now, this series and this book deserve a whole hearted 5 stars from me!!

If there was an award for a writer who could frustrate you but also hook you into their world of narratives so completely you couldn’t help but keep picking the story back up, R.F. Kuang would be one of my top contenders.
The first half of this book felt slow. It felt deliberately inflated with complicated philosophical theories and paradoxes I wasn’t sure I needed to know or care about. There were long and winding backstories I wasn’t sure were helping me either. I debated putting the book down for good. But somehow along the way after the 50% mark, as the story picked up pace, Alice and Peter started to make more sense. Their characters became stronger, more connected. Both to each other and to me. I saw their arcs and progressions and somehow it just clicked. After that, I couldn’t stop reading.
By the end of the book, I was hoping to just get a glimpse more of what happens next. For me, this book was infuriating (at times 😂) but inspired. And what can I say except that when I can’t stop thinking about a story long after I’ve turned its last page, it can only ever deserve 5 stars, if not more ✨💕.

I am obsessed.
Just when I start thinking I've read it all I find a book like this. One that completely redefines how I experience love and longing and magic and grief in a story that spans timelines and universes. Such beautiful writing, I can't stop thinking about it.
The story itself is very well paced, not too winding or confusing to navigate despite being so focused around time travelling. June and Eamon omgggggg. They had the kind of quiet love that feels grand in a way you can't explain. The weight you feel when they meet, when they discover each other, and when they fall in love is unthinkable. It's almost like you live through multiple lifetimes as you unravel June's story.
This book deserves as many stars as it has on its cover. It was a book I went into blind. Best decision I ever made.

Fun but wayyyyy too long for what it could have been.
I actually really enjoyed Asher and this new sports romance universe Ana's experimenting with. But after a certain point it felt dragged out. I liked the romance, the flirting, the tension, and the overall vibe of the book a lot. But I can't get over the length. It felt like a bit of a chore to finish towards the end, even though everything was gearing towards an HEA.
I'm curious enough to see what happens in book 2, but hopefully it's a little shorter than this one lol.

Honestly, I just couldn’t get into this one. I felt like there was a level of shallowness I couldn’t get over and the writing felt a little too on the nose for even the subtlest of emotions.
I just think this book was not for me :(.

So. Much. Happened.
This was fantasy romance in its full definition. It was quite fun to read something that revolved around the Princes of Sin. Envy was HOT. And I mean, he could ask me to drop everything and ruin the world HOT.
The story had so much happening in it, at times it felt a little difficult to keep going. It could also be the sheer length of the book itself. Almost 560 pages of fantasy and plot and romance all mixed together in some very intricate characters was fun but maybe a bit too long for my liking. Since I've come so far in this world and have invested so much in these characters already, I feel like I would definitely be picking up the next book too. When though, that will remain to be seen lol.
3.75/5 stars!
