Hello everyone! Happy 1st of May! I have been discussing with a few book friends which type of book they prefer: Ebooks or physical books. Most of them say they prefer physical ones. I can't really decide. Ebooks are definitely cheaper and if I make a mistake while annotating I can just erase it, HOWEVER physical books are a different experience.
So do you prefer physical books? Or Ebooks? And why??

For those also reading ebooks, how do you determine the total page count for your reads? Do you do it based on the edition you selected? Or looking at last page of ebook? If so, do you choose actual last page after acknowledgements etc. or end of last chapter? For those using Kobo, what do you do since it doesn't use traditional page numbers?
I do love the system here on PB where we can select the cover and then format & page count rather than scouring through specific editions. I just need to figure out how I'm going to count the actual pages lol.

Even though this book is only just over 300 pages, I already sense it will be a slower read for me because I want to savour each sentence! Her writing is so exquisite and lush. It’s also so much funnier than expected! I don’t want to miss anything.

After being emotionally obliterated by The Song of Achilles, I was craving another 300-400 page emotional & romantic standalone set in a historically inspired world - so here we go!
I read The Six Deaths of the Saint last year and enjoyed it, but didn't love it (I can't even remember the exact plot tbh). But I am really enjoying this so far! 🗡️

You know a series is good when you can't help but binge it all in one go and don't feel any burn out 🙂↕️ (literally started Captive Prince 3 days ago and here we are now)
I have flown through the first 15% and am SAT AND STRESSED.
