I enjoyed Legendary way more than Caraval. Despite its predictability, the story felt way more fleshed out and interesting. I was hesitant going into it because I was not a fan of Donatella in the first book, but I was pleasantly surprised. She's definitely a more interesting character than Scarlett (no offense to Scarlett cause I definitely relate to her way more haha), so having her as the protagonist of this book made it a more enjoyable read. Even though I predicted the majority of the plot twists and major plot points, I'm still so excited by the cliffhanger ending and can't wait to dive into the finale đ (pun fully intended). I'm also even more excited to start the Once Upon A Broken Heart series!

3.75 stars. The mystery felt like it was made up as we went along and was quite lackluster, but the vibes and the romance were great. The reveals at the end were kinda unexpected, but it wasn't as good of a payoff as I was hoping for. I am intrigued by the epilogue cliffhanger though, so I will be continuing the series. I'm hoping a certain character gets more "screen" time lol
