I tried to add a couple of books earlier and it came back with an error saying Goodreads doesn’t allow this anymore! Is this an issue anyone else ran into today or is it just me? xD
EDIT: Glad to know I’m not the only one!! Hopefully the PB team finds a new solution soon! 🤞

Is anyone doing anything fun to celebrate independent bookstore day? What's your favorite thing you've found in an indie bookstore? I went to an indie bookstore that doubles as a plant shop and I got a good book and a boob pot for my plant there.

Saw this on my facebook and intended to sent it privately to my best friend but I messed up and share it on my profile for all my FB friends to see. It became a happy accident because my book friends (whom haven't talked to in a while) engaged on the post and we had fun on roasting my chaotic evil friends.
I'm lawful evil. You?

Heyy, so I've had the problem that I would love to listen to some audiobooks, but I can't find any place where to download them for free. Do you know any websites?

I wonder if you’ve ever encountered people who say they never read fiction because it has no application in life. Twice in my life I met such people. Their reasoning simply is that fiction is not real, made-up, so they won’t be able to use it in their lives. Therefore, they are not spending their time reading it. At the same time, they both like to read, one of them is a lawyer, another — an academic. They just only read books containing facts. I think it’s a very peculiar type of thinking. As someone who sees so much value in reading fiction, I think they are missing out on so much.

Hihi!! I was wondering, what are your guys' thoughts on buddy reading? Have you tried it before? Did you enjoy it?
It's something I've been interested in, but I feel like the moments where I both have time to read and have the capacity to read are so random I don't want to put a friend through that haha.
I do really enjoy reading a friend's recommendation so I can discuss it with them after, I'm currently reading Dungeon Crawler Carl after a trusted friend recommended it, and I love pestering her with rhetorical questions about the mysteries of the book.
