She was so confident in her power that she had the luxury of kindness.

Do any of you guys do this too?? Every time I finish a book, I wait a day or two before I start thinking about a new book to kind of pay respect to the author and the book in general. Even if it's a series or it is just really bad, I just wait some time before grabbing the next one. Is it just me or does anyone else actually do this??

I like how there's a comedy and a non crime episode in here.

I'm so obsessed with this series right now. This is my third read after finishing the series then going back to this first book

Is it just me or does it feel extremely weird to post in empty forums? I personally really like to make posts because it feels like a space where I can discuss the book freely. But empty forums feel like I'm voicing my opinions into a void - it feels weird sometimes!

"Her mother had told her the mortal world was pocked with memorials and monuments to loss. They build with steel and stone and promise to remember, she’d said. But they never do."

so timely especially with the war now that the US is waging against Iran. The very same country who celebrates veterans day, and other holiday related to war. smh
