Okay I need some motivation to keep going here.. I'm not going to lie I am struggling to get into these stories š. I was advised to read this first to get some backstory on Celaena before starting the main body of works, so I want to keep reading just so I can start TOG, but tell me it gets better š«š

it was an amazing book for me and completely turned me into a dickens fan the story and the characters were amazing, also love how dickens always can combine all kinds of plotlines (i mean the way how we got to read about love, then about self-growth, then about one's morals and then about some crime?? amazing) even though i predicted the most of it, the book now is definitely one of my all time favorites

Well I hoped for a bit more it seems, but still I enjoyed it very very much. As always new details and new plotlines were so interesting!! I'm actually a bit angry they didn't give Crookshanks much credit in the film, I mean he was just there in the film whereas in the book he turned out to be such a smart cat, I hope he'll be present in the next books Loved Remus's book version so much more than his version in the movies. Also loved his relationship with Sirius (of course I did) And the last thing - how i LOATHED Snape god, in the films he was pathetic yes, but in this particular book he was INSUFFERABLE i hated him so much, officially I am a hater And yeah, in the middle it was a bit boring for me to read, it it's because I never liked Quidditch scenes and sport scenes in general š

i think it's important to acknowledge that people can't read everything - that's my case with this book i got through 'inferno' only but it was super hard for me with all the cultural, mythological and religious references it was a mistake to read this book in my early 20s haha, but I'll definitely read other two parts soon and also I'll re-read the whole thing when I'm older and wiser

one of the best classics I've ever read i loved everything but the most i loved discussions and thoughts of characters, to get to know them through their reaction to the world and their attitude towards some aspects was really the best experience so yeah, characters are one of the best things about this book, i found some parts of myself in them. it was really fascinating to learn how imperfect they are, how all of them have different stories, characters and especially it was amazing to silently debate with them, critique some of them and still love them the lighthouse as a symbol of them moving on was another great aspect please please do read this book, it's absolutely amazing
