Ove reminds me so much of Carl from the Disney movie Up 😭

Hi!! I was wondering if you too like to have more than 1 book on the currently reading list or maybe you prefer to fully commit to only one?

For me it has to be more than one but less than three (yeah very specific haha) because when there’s only one book I tend to either lose interest or get so emotional that I keep putting it away. But on the same time if I have more than 3 books I get overwhelmed by the amount of them and end up not reading any. Once it’s 2 or 3 books I feel like I have the ability to choose what I want to read right now without the feeling like there’s too much to choose from and the feeling of stagnation bc of not completing any or being forced to read only one and no more like it’s a task or assignment (which I always hated).

Anyway I’m curious how you guys like to read your books, how many on the currently reading list do you have?

i always try to be open-minded when i read the type of books outside my usual interests (mainly fantasy, romantasy, adventure, eventually classics and crime novel) but tbh this book is so disturbing to me. i'm disgusted by some of the stories. i know it's supposed to be controversial and taboo-breaking but i guess this type of literature isn't for me. i suppose the cultural differences may be the reason why i can't fully understand those short novels and have some deep thoughts about them (since i'm assuming that was author's goal). to sum up, „ministry of moral panic” is a very very weird book for me and unfortunately it isn't a compliment 😔
