Anyone else doing dracula daily this year and wants to do a read-along? It's still a good bit off, starting on May 3rd, but perhaps we can get some people together.
For anyone who does not know it, find out more here: https://draculadaily.substack.com/about
From the website: "Bram Stoker’s Dracula is an epistolary novel - it’s made up of letters, diaries, telegrams, newspaper clippings - and every part of it has a date. The whole story happens between May 3 and November 7. So: Dracula Daily will post a newsletter each day that something happens to the characters, in the same timeline that it happens to them."

What an interesting novel! I thought there was a little bit of a too happy ending, resolving comparatively effortlessly, but it was also nice to have that, so who am I to complain? Very interesting and complex main character. The most impactful scene to me, was when Farris gets them the freshly baked bread and the frustration and tragedy and defiance of that gesture, like; This is the best bread you will ever eat and it represents my country and it's rich culture and history and I need you to see and acknowledge that, despite all the rest of the ongoing corruption and tragedy and the broken system.
