Did I guess the ending? Yes. Did I enjoy it anyway? Absolutely. Did I also make very incorrect predictions? Also yes. Such a good feel-good quick read. Emily Henry is my go-to pallet cleanser.
And she always has an amazing ability to write gripping hooks in the first few pages.
(Don't worry, there's no pregnancy in the main couple as a plot device.)

People yearn for the morally gray shadow daddy.
Really tho, really cool concept (portal fantasy where a meta-knowledge nerd somehow ends up in the plot of her favorite unfinished trilogy fantasy story). I enjoyed the story and all its twists and turns.
People who said Game of Thrones meets Outlander (book 2 mostly) were on the right track.
But gosh darn it I could not tell you who was who with those S and R names. I really could not tell you the correct names for some characters. 3 of the most important characters had R names and 2 had S names. There were many times that I wondered "isn't this the bad guy? Or is this the good S guy." "Wait is that the R love interest or the big bad?"
Otherwise, great read.
