    Happy and hopeful trans stories?

Hey all. I looked up lists and club posts but nothing popped up for this.

Anybody have books with trans characters or storylines that are happy and positive? A lot of queer and trans stories are tragic and about the struggle of being queer/trans, but I want something happy and hopeful.

I’m nonbinary/trans, not out to family, and my mom sent transphobic stuff in the family group chat today. It’s not surprising or new, it’s just got me feeling especially low today. I need trans joy 💗

Edit to add: I’m also down for stories that just feature trans/nb characters without it being an issue in the book. Nonchalant trans characters lol. Willing to try any genre.

  • Tuesday Tidbits & Trivia - What has your reading taught you this week?

Happy Tuesday my big, beautiful Boundling brains!! It's the time of the week to share what you learned about yourselves, others, or the world through your reading this week! Whether it's a quick piece of trivia, a deep dive, or a sudden realization - all are welcome here!!

Not gunna lie - personally my brain is mush from a rollercoaster of a week ending on the high of the quests dropping yesterday so I feel like I can barely remember what I read last week let alone any fun facts haha but I'm excited to learn from y'all!

  • Disappointing BookTok/BookTube recommendations

I'm wondering if this is a common experience. except for classics, I have hated every single book I bought because of book influencers. I vowed never to fall for online hype again (several times in fact) since I know I'm very picky about the books I enjoy. But here I am again, contemplating reading Red Rising, even though I'm 95% sure it's not for me :))

What were your most disappointing reads from book influencer hype? Share them, save us time 🫶🏻

  • bucket-list recs!

hi boundlings!! 🫛🐝 there has been a similar post recently by @Allonsythornraxx, so pardon me if this sounds a bit repetitive! sooo, a few fellow PBs inspired me to make a bucket list of 100 books to read ✨sooner or later✨ (that's genuinely gonna be the name of my list lmao), so i wanted to ask for advice! the reason im making this post despite there being a similar one is that i didn't find many recs under it 🥹 so my question is, what's a book you think everyone MUST absolutely read once? it doesn't have to be a classic, but if it is id lean on the "digestible" ones more! and i can't read romantasy for the life of me (not straight at least) but other than that I'm open to pretty much any suggestion! i have a few in mind already, but I'd like to build this list based mainly on community recs 🫶🏻 hit me with your favourite book(s) or the book(s) that changed your life !! 🪻🔮
