I’d like to start by saying absolutely no shade to anyone who loves this book

Firstly information was constantly (CONSTANTLY😳) repeated because the author thinks we aren’t paying attention, or it’s just bad writing either way this quickly turned into a hate read. So many clues are dropped and things so heavily spoon fed to us that I just assume the author thinks we aren’t very bright. Also the “business end of the knife” is a phrase that was used multiple times unironically with one of those times being while a man was attempting to assault the FMC like I can’t take this book seriously. Also the word “chip” in replacement of “flash drive” unless a chip is something different. I was so confused the first few times it was said like is the word flash drive trademarked or something?

I wanted so badly to be obsessed with this book and this couple but I lowkey didn’t feel that much between them. And when he starts to feel unwell about her there’s not much build up it’s kinda out of nowhere being as they hadn’t talked much up until that point🥺😪

Highly recommend a physical or ebook, I don’t think I would’ve finished this if it wasn’t an audiobook but at the same time I hated so many of the lines just because I was hearing it and not reading it. But still there was no shortage or bad one liners. The whole ending sex scene was hard for me.

2. When Cade is finally revealed um was that r*pe he was threatening when he said “let’s fuck in front of the lady professor”?

3. Why did they make Cade in love with Lilia or at least very attracted to her that he followed her around and says Devryck doesn’t deserve her that was random right?
