I listened to the audiobook so that may have an impact on my rating.
As an audiobook this felt very repetitive and my suspicion is that this is less so the case with the physical book.
For the most part I thought the information was helpful. Some of the advice is more actionable that others and I wish there were more specific examples. I found the team application sections very interesting even though I was not necessarily looking for that in this book. Would be helpful to team managers for sure!

Does anyone have any books that they read as a child and now think maybe it wasn't the best book? Or maybe that it just didn't age well with time? Also, if you believe that any of your childhood books would still be considered a book a child would read now or if you would reread it yourself, I just reread The Boxcar Children and it got me thinking.

A stop watch type feature that allows you to track how much time you spend reading during a session and reading pace.
Tracking time like this in the moment helps build incentive (‘wow! I spent X time reading today’ vs ‘ugh my kindle reading time estimate keeps getting longer 😭’) It also helps plan ahead when you know how you’re pacing from session to session.
For example, I often start reading books at a slower pace and it’s cool to see how it my pace improves once I’m used to the writing style. My first reading session with Fourth Wing I was pacing 2.7 pages a minute but by the end I was reading more like 1.5 pages a minute.
