Do you ever just... get an idea for a list and have only maybe one or two books to actually populate it with? Do you also just question whether it's a good idea/concept at all? And what about what emojis to use??? This is my dilemma for the day.
So, I have a proposition. Let's crowdsource from the amazing community we have here on Pagebound, mine our varied experience and exposure and work on some lists!
For mine, I kind of wanted to do one inspired by Magritte's This Is Not a Pipe and call it This Is Not a Story, which is apparently also a project by a French author. The idea was to have books that are frequently misunderstood. But all I have for it is Chuck Palahniuk's Fight Club. And also... aren't all books about something deeper than what the synopsis implies and is open to interpretation and thus the chance of being mistaken?

I'm thinking about making a crocheted granny square blanket to track the books I've read. I want to do a color for the star rating, a color for the genre, and I'm not sure what else to color code, the squares I'm planning on using can have 4 colors (more if I make them bigger). I am open to suggestions on what else to color code/track with colors! Have you ever made a crochet project to track reading? I've seen people make weather blankets before and those have always seemed fun to me.

I had a really great time with this one! I love a good thriller that keeps me guessing. While it's not groundbreaking I still was engaged the whole time. I felt stressed and confused at times and that's something that I look for with thrillers.

This was a cute one! I liked the way that the chapters about the TV characters they were acting as played well with the actual book chapters.

I picked this back up at 58% after dnfing several months ago so don't take this one to heart 😅 There were some sweet moments but I was just not into it. None of the characters were likable to me and I just wasn't expecting the sisters' bond to be such a prevalent part of the plot.
