I'm absolutely loving the relationship between Mina and Lucy, reading them both talk about how beautiful and lovely they think the other is, taking a little trip together, the little details of the things they do with one another, it reminds me so much of my own friendships 😭. It gives the book so much character, too, I have such a strong attachment to them now. Also, poor Jonathan.

I read the Emily Wilson translation, certainly very enjoyable with some good notes and references to accompany the text, I liked it!
