My love for B.K. Borison and her writing grows more and more with every book I read by her!

And Now, Back to You was such a wonderful read. The story and the characters had so much heart and softness, I loved it all so much!

I really loved Delilah’s character in specific. She was clumsy and loud and so full of light. And even when it felt like the world was against her, she was always showing up with a smile. Her character’s worries of her being too much were so relatable, and my heart hurt for all of her insecurities. I’m so glad that she had so many people show up for her as the story progressed and that she got the happy ever after she deserved.

It took me a while to understand Jackson’s character. At first, I was a little off put because of how he viewed Delilah. But as we learn more about his past and his own insecurities, I really began to feel for him and understand why he felt the way he did. He really was such a great equalizer for Delilah, and I loved how much he showed up for her and also let her show up for him. He really developed so much throughout the book!

Delilah and Jackson were such a beautiful mess, and seeing them come together and just complete each other in such meaningful ways was so special. There were so many touching moments throughout this story, and I really loved the wide range of emotions it brought out. Both characters grew so much throughout the story by pushing their own boundaries, accepting care and giving it back, and just finding themselves when they felt like either not enough or too much.

This book was just so sweet 10/10!

“It’s always been me coming right back to you. You’re the end of every sentence, Delilah. I’ve just been too stubborn to see it.”

Wow, I’m not even sure where to start on this one. It was such a wild story. From the very first chapter, I was drawn in by the atmospheric writing, the dark and mysterious allure of La Cachette, and the complexity of the summer children’s relationships.

I wasn’t sure exactly what I was expecting, but this book felt anything but predictable. The story is heavy and twisted. Every time I thought I had a guess as to what happened to Elora and how it tied into the earlier events, I was given a new clue that led somewhere completely different. The whole small bayou town of La Cachette was filled with secrets and tragedy, tainted with darkness, and the deeper Grey got, the more I was convinced Elora was right to tell her she was better off not coming back.

I really loved the “magic” aspect of the book as well, and each of the psychic gifts. This just felt like such a well-crafted story, one that creeps up on you and captures your attention. Highly, highly recommend, and I will definitely be reading Ginny’s other books!
