Happy Sunday, Boundlings! 💜
It’s been awhile since I’ve done an Itty Bitty Winnies post! I got some less than stellar news this weekend and could use a pick me up! 🙌🏻
I want to hear your micro wins! The small victories that would maybe go unnoticed by others, but felt powerful to you! 👏🏻

The horror tinged portions of this story are actually very well done. Visceral and violent enough to make me care about the witch lore.
Now if only the remainder of this story felt less like filler in between gory scenes.

Hello Readers!
I'm curious about how you all tackle reading series, whether that is novel, manga, graphic novel, webcomic etc. (I'm sure I have missed something here) Do you binge the series? Wait until it is all released? Read as the books come out? Do you focus on a series at a time or do you have many on going series?
Why do you go about reading series that way?
I'm a proud multiple series reader. I have 54 series on my series tracker theses are combination of novels, graphic novels and manga. About half I'm up-to-date and waiting for the next book to be published. The rest I'm working on and I'm at various stages. I normally jump between series and books every time I pick up a book and I love tracking all my data in my reading journal. To keeping reading fresh and enjoyable for me I read a range of genres and mediums so binge reading a series doesn't work for me.

"If you only read the books that everyone else is reading, you can only think what everyone else is thinking." — Norwegian Wood, Haruki Murakami I've been thinking about this quote lately, and I'm curious how others feel about it. Do you think there's truth to the idea that reading mostly popular, widely discussed books can limit the range of perspectives we encounter? Or do you think great books are great books regardless of how many people are reading them? When it comes to your own reading habits, how much variety do you seek out? Do you make a conscious effort to read outside your comfort zone; different genres, countries, time periods, literary traditions, or lesser-known authors, or do you tend to gravitate toward the books everyone is talking about? I'd also be interested to hear whether you've ever felt your reading life become too narrow, and if so, what helped you break out of that. Conversely, have you found that reading popular books enriched your experience because they gave you a shared cultural conversation to participate in? In short: what are your thoughts and feelings on reading what everyone else is reading, and how important is variety in your reading life?

For those of us that love collecting Quest badges, how do you personally decide which badges you want to showcase? Do you rotate them around or stick with a couple favorites, and how do you choose which to show off (by level, genre, etc.)? Personally, I like to show off a variety of different badges (just like I try to have some diversity in My Taste books), but I really would love to knowhow everyone else picks their badges. Alternatively, if you don't like having badges on your profile, I'd love to know why as well.
