Here we go again! (Re-read; ch. 2/68)

Saw some content that reminded me of this series, so here I am attempting a re-read... pray, y'all

I also remember it being long but not 68 chapters omg 😭😭

Thinking out loud (44%, page 236)

This book is really making me want to get serious about language learning!

If you had to make your own word match-pair, what would it be, and what do you think it would/should be used for?

So far I've thought of 包围 (bāo wèi) / protect. Not sure how well it'd work since 包围 technically means "to surround" or embrace but I imagine pairing it with "protect" could invoke an invisible force field of protection that almost covers you like a dome, but also internally makes you feel at ease in a way like an embrace (maybe even a familial, protective embrace)

I wish it were longer and that there was more of a build-up between Pans and Neville. Felt like they had 3-ish conversations.

Compared to the two main works in this world and Theo's story, this was the least engaging of the stories (which was a bit of a let down, cuz I love this author's Pansy).

    Ahhhhhh!!!

I just discovered that the author got a book deal for this and is publishing (changed names, not sure if there's still magic or not?), so thought I'd share!!
