I love reading—it feels like traveling to new worlds or living another life for a while. Horror and mythology are my favorites, but lately I’m enjoying nonfiction and sci-fi too.

"All of these bad choices came about because in a group, politics and ego often trump sound decision making", and oh boy this happened recently in my work place 😂

I fell in love with reading again w/ this book

This book actually brought me back to reading again. I stopped reading novels when I started my college majors, but a friend recommended this book. My sibling had a physical copy, so I gave it a try and it reminded me why I love reading, especially books about mythology.

What I’ve realized so far while reading this book is how much of a people pleaser I am. I always value other people’s voices more than my own inner voice. I tend to follow the ‘right’ and ‘safe’ path as others say I should.
