Do i have small nitpicks with the book? sure. It’s a bit stereotypical and predictable at times, and it overexplains things too much. I don’t really like one of the plot points. However it’s still such a brilliant book that I don’t wanna give it a lower score. As expected of CS Pacat they are a brilliant writer and I was engaged the entire time.

DNF at ~30% this is the worst book i’ve ever read, i hate the writing. the narration feels like that of a child playing with toys. its childish and the characters are genuinely unlikeable. i really tried to force myself to read more but i couldnt.

It’s a beautiful and engaging book and andrew will resonate with anyone dealing with social anxiety, loneliness or panic attacks. It will also resonate with people with siblings. However it left me a little unsatisfied as the ending is way too open to interpretation for my liking.
