The sudden shift to the raven (the birds) POV in the middle of Neemaās POV was a bit jarring. Or is it just me?

But whyyyyy does it feel such a depressing read to me š my mood is not on board right now. Paused for a bit and picked it up again but i guess i just have to finish.
I feel like I would feel contemplative about this read on some other time with a different mood. Right now itās just not hitting

Dear future readers of this book, yes it starts slow. And yes, the action starts happening towards the half of the book.
And Iām glad I sat through the very slow start because I immensely enjoyed the fun when it started picking up. Oh I still wanted to wring Emilyās neck here and there for she was just bludgeoning her way in to a whole lot of situations that ended up being trouble but then thatās where the adventure lies I guess.
The faeries in this book were still bad and petty and pretty and doing whatever their whimsy delights them but the way it was written, it somehow sounded they were actual human beings too. The perspective was just written differently and maybe all the other readers can do a better job describing the exact description of how different they were portrayed here. I just know it was a fun read.
