Basically, a huge list of every book I ever heard features sapphic characters.

I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.

Some of these I do not plan to read at all, since they are not my style. If you feel like a book doesn't belong here, let me know.

• women characters should be multidimensional with their own goals, agendas, and flaws
• the main character should be a woman, and there should be at least one other female character who is significant to the plot
• women characters’ role should not be defined solely by her relationship to a man
• author is a cis man
• one book per author

I went through all the books in the romance quest tab and here are all the ones where at least one of leads is in a relationship that is not "man and woman falling in love with each other." F/F, M/M, F/NBi, M/NBi, NBi/NBi, etc. Largely motivated by wanting to figure out which romance book quests I had a chance of getting the badges for. If I missed any, let me know. Dystopian, Sci-fi, Space opera

Epic fantasy where battles, survival, and legacy drive the story. Love may exist in the background, but here it’s war, quests, and struggles that take center stage.

A collection of well-written sapphic genre books where the "sapphicness" is more than just having a woman with a male love interest who happens to be bisexual. None of the books here have an f/m ending (unless there are multiple protagonists and at least one have an f/f relationship)
