Hopecore books
For when things seem hopeless. We can always try again and again β€οΈ
This list is a community project, I asked in the club and received multiple suggestions which I then added onto a list: fiction and nonfiction, fantasy, contemporary, sci-fi, the main theme is just hope. Some people said their recommendation might not fit very well but I added it anyways.
Also, in the og post, I mentioned The Good Place and if people have recommendations tending to that, so some books are related to that.

Trans Rights Readathon Suggestions (masterlist)
Reading suggestions for the Trans Rights Readathon! (Any year of course). Books with trans characters of any label (or any non-cis gender identity) by trans/non-cis authors. I have not read all the books in this list. Feel free to name your fave books by trans authors in the comments!

Badge Gremlins
Shorter books (under 200 pages) that are part of at least one quest. Many are also in the public domain, making them easily accessible when you want to grind for that next badge.

Queer Anthologies
Short story, essays, comics, and/or poetry collections focusing on queer and trans folks. Please note: there are some collections listed where not every story is queer, but there is intersectionality, and since that is important, I have included them.

Indigenous Peopleβs of the World Lit
Literature featuring indigenous authors from the Americas and Pacific. Fiction from across all genres by First Nations of Canada and the US, MΔori, Aboriginal Australian, Samoan, Hawaiian, Papua New Guinean and other Pacific Island indigenous peoples. Any and all recommendations are more than welcome! Thank you π

White Women are the Villains, Actually
Fiction stories where white women use and abuse people of color and other marginalized people. Thank you @chris for pointing out what a great list this would make!

Indigenous Reads of 2025
A list of books I've read by Indigenous authors (ideally about Indigenous issues or characters) in 2025. Books about Indigenous people/topics written by non-Indigenous authors aren't included here, but anthologies/co-authored books with a mixture of both Indigenous and non-Indigenous authors are included. For this list, I'm only including authors Indigenous to the Americas, Oceania, and SΓ‘pmi, although Indigenous peoples obviously exist in other parts of the world.
