reading diversely is not a trend. it’s the bare minimum. and if your shelves don’t reflect that, you’re missing out.

There’s now LGB without the T and I want to celebrate and uplift Trans authors! Let’s also remember how much the Trans community has done for the queer community as a whole and uplift their stories year round, not just during pride month.

May 16th is National Biographer's Day, commemorating the work of people who write about... people! We've picked out a whole pile of our favorite biographies, autobiographies, and memoirs by and about queer folks to celebrate the occasion. (This list is presented by Duck Prints Press, the indie publisher focused on publishing queer art and stories by queer creators! A group of us collaborate to make these recommendations.)
