The Ao3 Curse isn't just for Clicks

These are books, short stories or poems (and poetry collections) that were interrupted before the advent of the Internet because something happened to the author (or them getting into a situation... like suddenly becoming a merchant). List in progress!

Starting off with stories from authors I knew died while they were writing them or actively publishing them (the seed of this was Don Juan). The only one atp that isn't is Rimbaud's merchant epiphany that was published by Verlaine's fishy hands (iykyk) and Netochka Nezvanova (which was interrupted by the mock execution, not Dostoyevsky's actual death).

two for Poe because one was in active publication (Rodman) and the other was just posthumous (lighthouse) - might go back on this later depending on how long this list gets. Yes I am counting the first Balzac I know of that Rabou finished off (Sanditon was also polished off by a few different people IIRC).

oh lord the 'main' title of the Pushkin one is so awful even if he was mixed (I knew of it as the Moor of Peter the Great)
