i don’t know if this would fit, but there’s “somebody is walking on your grave” by mariana enriquez! it’s more so about the history and culture of cemeteries all over the world!

I think ‘A matter of death and life’ by Irvin Yalom and ‘Notes on Grief’ by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie are fit for this topic.

Molly Conisbee's No Ordinary Deaths could be a good fit here I think. A book that focuses on the social history of death from the perspective of ordinary people.
