More on the types of books I'm looking for: They don't have to be cozy fantasy/sci-fi, although that's what this list mostly consists of right now. This is just what I've read so far that I think counts as a buffer book!! You can also suggest crazy smut, sentient object romance, slice-of-life litfic, satirical works, works so bad they might as well be satirical, anything that you don't have to take too seriously!! I'm debating adding works like The Foxhole Court to this list, but I'm leaning towards no because of the content in it, for now I'm going to stay away from works with an abundance of triggering subjects even if it ends up feeling comedic because of the quality. I hope to expand this list as I continue my reading journey!!
