Thank you so much for all your suggestions!! I've added the ones I felt like fit well with the list. Some I knew of and weren't as sci-fi-y as I would like (like 'in real life'). Ender's game... I deliberated on for a while. I had it on and took it off. Mostly because I don't support the author. :x But it does fit on the list. Idk! I guess I don't really know the politics about the others authors so maybe I just put it back on with a **note?
Also appreciate you double checking me. These are from a list I made a while back based on video games / mmropg / VR etc. so Iām not familiar with all the vibes going on with them but at least a good amount should align I hope! Iāve scanned the synopsis for most.
You decided to add Enders Game? Hope you didnāt feel pressure to!! :)
Do want you want itās your list. :) In my mind, I include everything, and donāt avoid reading an author thatās problematic, because people are going to be problematic all over and we sometimes as a culture take time to recognize and learn whatās problematic too, which is where we get outdated aspects in mediaā¦and we can be conscious about how we support the author or not, can advocate and communicate these issues, and even read books and talk about the issues they contain. Theres also going to be many people that are problematic but we may not know yet or ever. Obviously thereās a lot more too it than this. My comment will remain too if you find making a list of behind the scenes comments to be more work than youād like but I think thatās a good idea too if youāre uncomfortable with things on a list. I love making supplemental comments. Iāve paired movies with my book lists before this way. Appreciate the explanation though! Enders game has been an impactful book for me, for several reasons āso itās hard not to keep reccomending it!
oooo omg what a kickass concept for a list, love this!!!
I don't even read much sci-fi, but this sounds so cool so instant save!
Ehem, I am back with more. (Can you tell this is a topic Iāve looked into before? š)

Hehe, I love it! Tysm for your additions!! I will be having a look later š«¶š¼
No rush of course. I also have a few more I'm going to look at first & then rec. So I'll be right back.

I'm just gonna put you down as a co- creator at this point š
Bahaha! Cute. Pretty sure I co-create everything bookish with the amount of my life I've spent making specialized recommendations, fixing and reporting bookish platform issues etc. I always want to see a list succeed & see people fine a book to love.
some of these might not be on PB, as they're less known titles. I'll dig for more contemporary & known titles later. Tried to stick to more SF relevant this time too.
As co-creator 𤪠I'm happy to add if they're not coming up just lmk. You don't even have to specify the titles.
