Mychal Threets Book Club (unofficial)
If you’re not familiar with Mychal, he is the new host of The Reading Rainbow and he has been spreading “library joy” on social media for years. Mychal has a book club on Fable that is for a more mature audience than The RR. He has posted a new book monthly since March 2024. I have enjoyed every book I’ve read from his club! I am not Mychal Threets and I do not know him personally. I am creating this list to help share a bit of Mychal’s Library Joy with Pagebound.

Mychal’s book club is the only reason I still have Fable. I’ll add books to this list when he posts a new one. I haven’t read everything in this list but my favorites so far are ‘The Leaving Room’ & ‘Children Of Blood And Bone’.

I decided to share this with Mychal on instagram. I told him to let me know if he’d like me to take it down since he put a lot of time and energy into curating this list. He probably won’t see my message or respond since I imagine he gets many messages across all the platforms but I want to be respectful and considerate of his work. He deserves allll the flowers. I also encouraged him to join PB- I think he’d love it. ❤️
