Great Books with Trans Main Characters
Here are some of my favorite books that feature Trans Main Characters, both MtF and FtM. I have not included non-binary characters here, as I want to do another list for those characters. I am still gathering stories for that. A few of these are not the first book in the series, so do check the series before you start. If you have any recs not on here, feel free to drop a comment. I'm always up for adding more to my to read list!

I'm hoping this isn't intentional, but your current wording here gives the impression of saying nonbinary folks aren't trans. Nonbinary people are under the trans umbrella, and there are many gender identities outside of trans women and trans men. The white stripe on the flag is for those identities. Even if you didn't know any books with nonbinary protagonists you wanted to include yet, saying you'll make a separate list for nonbinary seems like excluding folks who many be nonbinary and trans.
Oh, no, I hadn't meant that at all. I'm sorry it sounded that way. I have a non binary Neibling. I wanted people to know that they weren't on here because I do see them as trans. I just feel it deserves it's own list. One of the problem with the word limits on these lists.
