A picture is worth a thousand words, and sometimes that applies to comic books. What could be more effective in learning the history of resistance than via comic books? Especially if you happen to have grown up hearing "comic books aren't REAL books." đ

would it be okay to rec Persepolis ? i haven't personally read it but know it tackles coming of age during the iranian revolution and has some discussions of feminism and education i believe !!
