    Weird marketing

How was this story ever marketed as a romance? This is a romance the same way that Lolita is a romance. Heathcliff got problems.

  • Cosy and low stakes stories

I recently discoverded the "cosy fantasy" genre and I was wondering if something equivalent but not fantasy-specific exists ? Is there a name for stories that are cosy and low stakes plot driven ?

In anime we have "slice of life" and in vidéo games the "casual" or "Stardew Valley like" type of games 😂, but in litterature I can't seem to find a name for this.
