I had such a blast reading this! It's definitely as good as A Secret Society of Irregular Witches if not better! I loved the characters, the inn, the humour, the romance, I loved EVERYTHING! 100% deserving of 5 ☆ and a rec! 🥰
This was short and sweet aka intriguing. I mostly read it because I wanna watch the movie and was curious what the original material is. Also, shoutout to @Rosemaryfell's review, because it's perfection 😏 Oh, and I saw these online🤣
Loved this book! A good Historical Romance? Yes, please. A good Historical Romance with diverse characters and backstories? Even better. A good Historical Romance with diverse characters and backstories and a Persuasion retelling at that? The best. The writing was superb, the characters were well fleshed out, the insight into the FMCs culture was fascinating and the plot was, though at times a bit slow-ish, very interesting. I think I need to read more of Diana Quincy's books or at least the other books of this series.

So, since I've seen so many people read Austen books lately, I've wanted to rank the main & a few of the side characters so badly, lol. 🤭 I thought I might share my lists and see what all of you think? I'm very curious if you feel the same or if you have a different opinion! These are characters from: Emma, Northanger Abbey, Pride&Prejudice, Sense&Sensibility, Persuasion, Mansfield Park & Sanditon (except that one's unfinished, so I used the series for reference - 3 seasons). 😍 I rated them after the book ones and then, in brackets, after the movies/series ones.

Because I kinda hate seeing all these picture perfect journal spreads on socials and elsewhere (doesn't matter if bullet or reading journal) and whenever I try them, they either turn out bad or I don't use them as much as I'd like to, lol. 🫠
Speaking of, what do you hate about journal spreads or inspo videos? Are there any you don't like using?
