So... If you are like me and devour books I HIGHLY suggest you buy from worldofbooks.com or WOB. They have basically any book. They supply books everywhere. Most books for good or very good condition will be £3. Literally amazing. They also stock new books the only difference is you can get free postage and it's environmentally friendly made of recycled plastic. Also there are loads of offers so you can get free books. It's amazing!!!

This is such an important book, especially in our current political climate. There is so much in here that one would think is just too horrific to be true, and I know that the author just scratched the service on the injustice spanning the globe, especially that towards children and teenagers. I loved the dual pov and how it expanded the meaning of the book because we get to see both the journey of an asylum seeker and also the attitudes of the people awaiting them in the lands they're trying to reach. It really broke my heart but I felt like I found a kindred spirit in Natalie as I connected so much with her outrage towards the crisis and the hostility she finds in those around her against the people fleeing injustice and suffering.
I appreciated that the author was trying to bring through a message of hope and speak on the fact that we are all equal, but what began to lose me was her point on how we are all connected by stardust. I personally don't believe in this rhetoric and as such was left feeling sad more than anything else because I couldn't identify with what the characters were left clinging to. That aside, I don't know how someone would be able to read this book and not be left with a desire to do all they can in regards to the immigration emergency. So let's make others aware of the injustice and not let our hearts be hardened to their pain, it may not be stardust that connects us all, but for me there is another reason to hope and as we are all created equal, this should cause us to not be silent when it matters most. Happy Reading :)

As someone who has never read the book but has watched the movies, I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to read the book. It takes Bella 9 chapters to fall in love with Edward. She’s also so mean the way she describes the boys and girls. As a kid, I will say I did save up my money to buy the book, but I never really ended up reading it. I think I only got to the biology chapter which might be the first chapter.

I’m hooked, the writing style flows so easily! Olive annoyed me a lil in the beginning but I’ve very quickly grown attached to her and I’m not even that far into the book 😆
Random but I find it interesting that Adam is Jewish, as when the Star Wars movies came out my mom and I were convinced that Adam Driver was Jewish lol (he isn’t)
