Hello PB, I come to you with a rec search
So many romance books are small town vibes, and donāt get me wrong I love the small town romances and eat them up like I canāt get enough! But I am a big city girl living a big city life and relationship, and would like to see this in some more of the books I read. If you have any recs for good romance books set in the big city life Iād love to hear them!! I love the vibes of First-Time Caller & And now back to you. Give me meet cutes, workplace, bars & clubsā¦idk Iām down for any type āŗļøš©·š©·

Happy Wednesday, Boundlings! š
I feel like society always focuses on the big wins, the all out effort, the productivity.
I want to hear your small wins, the ones that would go unnoticed as a win if you didnāt mention them.
Did you get out of bed this morning? Have the perfect amount of creamer left for you coffee? Did a stray cat meow at you and made you feel warm and fuzzy?
These are all wins! I want to hear your micro wins for the week! šš»šš»šš»

I wonder if youāve ever encountered people who say they never read fiction because it has no application in life. Twice in my life I met such people. Their reasoning simply is that fiction is not real, made-up, so they wonāt be able to use it in their lives. Therefore, they are not spending their time reading it. At the same time, they both like to read, one of them is a lawyer, another ā an academic. They just only read books containing facts. I think itās a very peculiar type of thinking. As someone who sees so much value in reading fiction, I think they are missing out on so much.

Okay, so my audiobook was due tomorrow, so I returned it and borrowed the printed one. Luckily, I was able to find exactly where I was at! It's getting a lot more interestingš

What's your ideal book length?
OR
If you don't care about the above, what is your ideal chapter length?
For me, I think around 400 pages is my sweet spot, and chapters between 10 and 15 pages let's you get into a nice flow without feeling like you cant take a break.
Edit: I forgot to include: what is your ideal audiobook length?
