I know there’s been so many appreciation posts here, and at the risk of sounding redundant, I’d like to share anyway.
I joined Pagebound on January 2nd thinking it could just be one more little book tracker for me to try out. I had no idea it would be the community that would not only be the exclusive book app I use, but it would also pull me off of all other social media too. Two months ago, I never would’ve believed there was a corner of the internet that could actually be so positive that doomscrolling could become a thing of the past in my day to day life.
If I was to list all of the things I love about PB, I’d probably break the forum. So I’ll just say this:
I’m incredibly grateful to have a space to talk about books, connect with likeminded individuals, and have a resource to help me find books I never would’ve otherwise found on my own. And my favorite thing of all: a welcome and warm space for queerness and diversity, something generally lacking online. I love that I can connect with others in the community and talk about things like my wife, without fear of judgement or hatred. In these uncertain times in the world, I am so grateful to feel a part of something instead of apart.
Thank you fellow Boundlings for being a safe and cozy space for everyone, and for being such an incredible resource! 🤍🤍🤍

After nearly 2 years of moving me and my partner have managed to open our last box of books that was sitting around, brooding at us from a corner in our bedroom. The problem is: I have bought/was gifted so many of these books years and years ago and I've realised that books I might have once had on my priority tbr I have completely stopped thinking about or are from authors I don't really care for now. What would you do in my place? Would you try to get through them or should they go in the donation bag?

I am doing a reading challenge (HRCYED), and I am one movie/show away from completing a square, but I cannot find a book that has been turned into an animation that I haven't seen. I have seen most Disney movies, and I just don't have the motivation to watch The Wild Robot. Any suggestions?? I can rewatch it if the last time I watched it was 10+ years ago.
