No, I don't mean in a day. I mean, in a year. So basically, I've very recently realized that I don't read a lot of books outside of summer breaks and holidays. Throughout the whole year, I do a plethora of rereads but the only time I fulfill my short reading goal (because I only count books that are first time reads) is during the summer and then I have a whole lot of pressure to quickly find new books and then read them. Hence, the "short" reading goal, cuz otherwise I'll never be able to fulfill my annual aim lol. I suddenly realized this after joining Pagebound cuz I'm very active on here hehe and I discovered that I've completed a good part of my reading goal within only the past three months. The reason this is concerning is because I think it puts me at risk of going into a reading slump and I'm probably not able to digest the books I read properly cuz I'm always looking ahead for the next book. I think the Pagebound plan option is pretty helpful but I'm a mood reader so I never know which book I'll read next. Outside of summer, I somehow never get the time to start new books or it takes me ages to complete one if I do. Any tips??

hello pagebound! i'm curious: do you guys have any preference on how to read a book depending on its genre? personally, i can't stand reading nonfiction digitally for some reason. but anything fiction i usually prefer eReading it (usually because those books are so thicccc sometimes!) and i can only stand audiobooks if they're fantasy fics

Idk if it's just me but I find non standalone books very intimidating. I just recently came out of a reading slump and as someone who used to only read long fantasy series it seems super strange to me that I dont even wanna look at them atm I do miss the feeling of exploring a new intricate world, and I understand why that's difficult to do in one book, but even thinking about searching for each book and reading all of them feels so exhausting! I can't even comprehend how I got through hp and five kingdoms, anything more than 500 pages makes me physically tired to think about
