So, I was browsing the discover people tab a little while ago, and it got me wondering: Whatās the highest crossover percentage you all have ever seen with another user?
Iāve seen several with 70%, which I thought was pretty neat! Funny story, though, none of them have ever followed me back :P Meanwhile, me and all of my moots with only like 5% crossover are having a grand olā time, together! Lmao!

A good read. The ending was great and action packed. The characters were interesting and well developed, but I felt like the world building was lacking at times. The main beef of the plot was interesting and there were some unexpected plot twists.
The main let down for me was parts of the middle felt slow and I did feel like the book could've been shorter. I enjoyed reading it but I wasn't on the edge of my seat unable to put it down at any point except the last 50 ISH pages.
Overall an enjoyable read. I will consider reading book 2 next year when it releases.

What's been a read that really surprised you so far? Was it a book you were excited for that turned out to be a dud? Was it something outside your comfort zone you really resonated with? Something highly anticipated that even blew your own expectations away?
For me, it's the latter: Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy. It was the first book I read this year and something that was always on my radar because of the accolades but I never dove into. I've never read something simultaneously so viscerally violent that I had to pause and take a breath mid-page, but also so beautiful in the description of environments and flow of prose. Definitely not for everyone, but something I haven't stopped thinking about for almost 4 months now.
