Eh this wasn’t for me. I liked foster and ravens relationship a lot. Kinda frustrated that even though the author chose to make Rhodes Demi they didn’t really give us any content of him growing his relationships. With raven they literally meet like twice and then he watches her have sex no sweet getting to know each other moments in between. And with his and Vanns situation he already had this connection blooming before we started their story. And also on that note it felt like literally every interaction she had with everybody but foster was either groveling or sex. Definitely skimmed the last few chapters because I just wanted the book to be over but they just kept going at it. 😭

Honestly I wish they didn’t make the first the first chapter. There’s a bunch of plot holes to, why didn’t her family attend her Olympic?? She never mentions haveing a bad relationship with them and they’re not dead? Also we never get the conclusion of what happened with tanners dad.

Why would the person who switched her suppressants even think that would do anything? She didn’t know her scent matches would be there and she literally said she had an induced heat right before going. And the Olympics are what 2 week? Even if omegas have heats monthly in this universe that wouldn’t add up unless she happened to meet her scent matches which again she didn’t know would be there. Anyway I’m getting to into this it’s not that deep.

I really liked the characters but I didn’t care for the plot so much. I loved the chronic illness and queer rep but opal was the worst decision maker ever. She kept saying wanted to keep her distance but literally all of her actions showed the opposite. It just was really getting on my nerve and the big reveal at the end was so weird like that whole situation was bizarre 😭 I don’t wanna give too many details but what was that?
