For me this was one of the books, which are good at the beginning, quite not it in the middle, but great at the end. Because all the way until about 60 pages left before the ending, I didn't exactly feel drawn to this story. It just didn't hit the same way the first book in this series did, so thought I might end up a bit dissapointed. BUT the ending, changend everything. I was hooked and invested in the story, eager to find out how the rest is gonna turn out.

The main character was very intriguing to follow. The way he was thinking something, but didn't end up saying it, just because he had decided it wasn't important. And overall the way he perceived the world around him.

The vibes were quite there and so was the prose. On the other hand it was quite predictable and at some points a bit cringy.

TBH, I can't realy imagine reading this book in paper format instead of listening to it on audio. So far it's one of the best audibooks I've ever listened to, mostly thanks to the way the book's written. (not that I've listened to many audiobooks)
